This sample policy will help your organization set guidelines for managing web sites, from operation to content. It also sets design standards for usability.
The City and County of San Francisco Committee on Information Technology (COIT) uses
this policy to set standards and operational processes for the management of web sites
created by city and county departments.
This policy outlines the general policy for the city’s website and explains
requirements for both public and internal site content, including those pertaining to
design standards, general liability, external linking and accessibility.
