Next Survey Finds DevOps Adoption Accelerating-2 Next

Sixty-three percent of respondents have implemented DevOps practices. This represents a 26 percent increase in adoption from Puppet Labs’ 2011 survey, which found that half of all respondents had implemented DevOps practices. Both large and small companies are turning to DevOps.

Puppet Labs recently surveyed more than 4,000 IT operations professionals in its annual survey on the state of DevOps. This year's survey indicated a substantial increase in the DevOps adoption rate across organizations of all sizes, located in more than 90 countries.

Puppet Labs believes this trend is due to the real business value that DevOps provides - value that is indicated by key performance metrics corresponding to agility and reliability. This slideshow details some key findings from the survey. If you'd like to see more, check out this infographic. You can also read the full survey report.
