A survey of 200 IT managers in North America conducted by Hubspan, a provider of a business process integration service, finds more diversity across the IT landscape than in the history of the industry.

Furthermore, the data suggests that various technologies are fairly entrenched, which indicates that diversity across the IT landscape is here to stay.

That, of course, will create unavoidable management challenges that IT organizations will need to address.
