While usage of cloud applications among small-to-medium (SMB) organizations may not be as deep as current hype suggests, a new survey of 3,000 companies with between two to 250 employees conducted by Microsoft shows that a shift to cloud applications is well under way.
What’s not clear is how deep that shift will be, with most organizations preferring to rely on a handful of utility applications, such as email in the cloud.
That may change, however, as SMB organizations gain not only more confidence in the cloud, but also finally put to rest their security concerns.
