Cloud Adoption Picks Up SMB Momentum

While usage of cloud applications among small-to-medium (SMB) organizations may not be as deep as current hype suggests, a new survey of 3,000 companies with between two to 250 employees conducted by Microsoft shows that a shift to cloud applications is well under way.

What’s not clear is how deep that shift will be, with most organizations preferring to rely on a handful of utility applications, such as email in the cloud.
