Social Media Policy
This sample policy from a PR agency is right for your company if you want your employees to embrace social media, but to do so in a manner that’s beneficial company.
The Greteman Group, a branding, advertising, PR and marketing agency based in
Wichita, Kansas, created the accompanying document in an effort to give employees
guidance on how to use and embrace online social media; and, at the same time, bring
value to the company. This policy addresses guidelines for blogging and using popular
social networking platforms such as Facebook and MySpace. Also included are guidelines
on blog reading, online shopping and e-mail forwards.
