Like it or not, thanks to advances in mobile computing, the office can reach out and touch us at any time. And thanks to the ubiquity of wireless networks, workers everywhere are blurring the lines between work and place.
Even though things are tough all over, a new survey from Cisco finds that many workers report they will choose to work for one company over another based on the flexibility that company provides in the workplace.
The end result, the survey finds, is that the increased need to support mobile computing is driving investments in wireless networks, which are rapidly becoming the primary network used in the enterprise.
