    Mobile computing has the attention of almost every IT manager. A survey of 250 IT managers conducted by Kelton Research on behalf of Sybase, an SAP company, finds that 90 percent are planning to implement mobile computing applications in 2011.

    But chances are, those same IT managers are discounting the challenges associated with managing mobile computing applications on multiple platforms, especially when you look at the number of applications they intend to deploy in multiple types of devices.
