    Drivers of Google Apps Adoption

    Conventional wisdom may hold that free access is the reason that most users decided to employ Google Apps. But a new survey of over 2,000 Google Apps administrators conducted by Focus Research on behalf of Cloud Alliance, an association of vendors that market add-on Google Apps products and services, finds that the primary driver of Google Apps adoption is collaboration.

    Turns out that most existing personal productivity applications make it hard to share data over the Web, which these days is one of the primary things that end-users need to do each and every day.
