    It was only a matter of time before the technology advances in business-to-consumer e-commerce sites found their way onto business-to-business sites.

    Two new surveys of 430 B2C e-commerce professionals and 160 B2B e-commerce professionals, conducted by Endeca, a provider of e-commerce software, find that technology trends such as personalization and search engine optimization (SEO) are increasingly part of the B2B e-commerce mix.

    In fact, as time goes on, the only thing that may distinguish one e-commerce site from the other is the type of customer it addresses.
