    Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 Reference Guide

PowerPoint has grown to be synonymous with computer-based presentations. This quick guide will help your users get the most out of new features in PowerPoint 2010, such as multimedia and the new Ribbon interface.

When you hear the word “PowerPoint” in the workplace, most people immediately associate it with a computer presentation. Such is the power of the Microsoft brand and its PowerPoint software package. PowerPoint is widely used by business people, educators, students and trainers and among the most prevalent forms of persuasive technology. Beginning with Microsoft Office 2003, Microsoft revised the branding to emphasize PowerPoint’s place within the Office suite, calling it Microsoft Office PowerPoint instead of just Microsoft PowerPoint. Most people just still refer to it as PowerPoint.

The attached document gives users a reference guide to the 2010 version of PowerPoint, including instructions on how to quickly create new presentations, insert and delete slides, add multimedia, speed up your work using keyboard shortcuts and toggle through screen viewing options.
