SAS Institute came in at number one, with an average satisfaction rating of 4.5 out of 5.  Employees say the company is very customer-focused as well as employee-focused. Employees enjoy a good work/life balance and the company offers countless benefits (not just health insurance...) like aquatic center, onsite childcare, subsidized meals at the onsite cafes, gym, and list goes on and on and on.

Let's face it, employees are spending more time these days working than enjoying life itself. That's why Glassdoor has just released its annual top 25 companies for work-life balance.

Flexibility, work culture and innovation were noted as key attributes for gaining balance by the winners for 2013. The top 25 companies were selected based on thousands of company reviews and ratings shared by employees.
