FlexJobs, a job service specializing in remote and flexible job opportunities, has announced its second annual list of the Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs. Companies such as Amazon, Kaplan, ADP and Salesforce made the list, which features a variety of career fields and industries.
Overall, telecommuting has increased 80 percent nationally since 2005 – with more than 34 million workers in the U.S. already telecommuting at least occasionally. Once considered an employee perk, work-from-home jobs are now recognized for bringing bottom-line benefits to companies.
"The positive impact remote work options can have on a company's bottom line and culture is increasingly being acknowledged by smart employers. The organizations on this list are among those leading the charge to show that remote work options are a part of successful 21st century workplaces," says Sara Sutton Fell, founder and CEO of FlexJobs. "The Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs in 2015 is also is intended to guide job-seekers in their quest to find legitimate work with trusted companies that have a successful track record recruiting and hiring telecommuters."
