There is a massive amount of developer activity these days involving mobile computing platforms. A new survey conducted by International Data Corp. of 2,173 developers who use Titanium mobile application development tools from Appcelerator finds that while Apple remains at the top of the heap, there is much uncertainty about the impact of emerging technologies such as HTML5, cloud services and social networking application development tools.

Overall interest in these tools and services is high. But the survey shows that mobile application development strategies are still a work in progress, which means that at this point it’s still pretty much anybody’s game to win or lose.
