HP acquired the webOS platform when it purchased Palm last year. The company first began pushing webOS to its printers last summer and has since introduced it to devices in its mobile lineup like the HP Pre3 and TouchPad. The company recently announced that it has designs on baking the platform into all of its PCs in 2012.
