Novell

Novell's SuSE Enterprise Linux offering runs second to Red Hat's Linux distribution, but Novell made enemies in the open source space when it struck a collaboration deal with Microsoft that included a patent clause. Other than the operating system, the deal also focused on Novell's virtualization technology. It is a subsidiary of The Attachmate Group.
