Many factors come into play when evaluating possible sites for outsourcing. Among them are labor costs, attrition rates, skill sets, language capabilities and government support - or lack thereof - for outsourcing. Many companies consider establishing outsourcing operations a good way to break into local markets. Though India and China are on the short list of possible outsourcing sites for most companies, new alternatives are emerging all the time, including Vietnam, Mexico and Brazil.
