Rich Media

As data bandwidth increases - both inside the network and on the Internet - more information is stored in video, Flash animations and other rich media. Rich-media applications can include interactive data forms or brochures. Tagging rich media in a meaningful way is a key challenge for enterprise content-management systems and the concept of a "semantic Web." Users love YouTube, but finding productive uses of rich media for staff and customers remains a balancing act between creativity and practicality.
