Windows XP

Windows XP is the most commonly installed PC operating system, despite the fact that Microsoft has suspended sales of Windows XP as it pushes its newer Windows Vista. After its Service Pack 2, or SP2, release - which some observers say was an entire new OS rather than an update - Windows XP developed a reputation as one of the more stable and useful of Microsoft's operating systems.
