Microsoft SQL Server

Microsoft SQL Server is the Redmond software giant's entry into the relational database management system (RDBMS) market for large-scale application and data needs. MS SQL, as it is often called, uses the Structured Query Language standard, which Sybase and the several open-source rivals also use. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 includes an interface to the .NET programming framework, and MS SQL is often deployed in conjunction with Microsoft enterprise software packages.
