E-mail and Web Policies

Companies must develop and implement comprehensive e-mail and Web use policies to address the risks that employee use of e-mail, blogs, wikis and social networking-sites present to corporate America. It's not only an issue of liability, but also of potential damage to the company reputation. Some things to consider are when and how employees can use e-mail for personal causes, when and how they can use or post to personal blogs on company time and guidelines for posting to company-sponsored blogs or wikis.
