Systems Engineering

Bringing together the business and operations sides of the house, systems engineering takes an interdisciplinary approach to a structured development process. It requires identifying and developing new methods and modeling techniques to improve the understanding of engineering systems as they grow more complex. On large-scale system problems, teams work together to find a solution and carry it out. The work proceeds from concept to production to operation through the complete life cycle, in some cases including disposal.
