Report Predicts Apple Will Extend Exclusive Deal with AT&T
AppleInsider on September 10, 2009
This week, iSuppli Corp. released a report that claims that with the adoption of the High Speed Packet Access technology, AT&T will likely remain in its exclusive iPhone agreement with Apple. Previous analyst reports predicted that Apple would end that agreement. But the iSuppli report projects that HSPA subscribers should hit 1.4 billion by 2012, while the EVDO standard used by Verizon would have only 304.6 million subscribers by the following year.
