Intel Launches Faster, Affordable Mid-Level Chips

Intel unveiled its latest microprocessor offering — Nehalem-based high-performance chips designed for mid-level computers. The company hopes that these affordable chips will bring buyers back to the PC market and help the industry recover from the revenue decline of this recession.
