Windows XP Usage Drops, Microsoft Sighs Relief

Microsoft has feared that hard-core Windows XP fans would be most reluctant to upgrade to Windows 7, but the company has a reason to rejoice: XP usage is down. According to the Net Applications Web measurement report, Windows XP usage is down 1.1 percent in August, while Windows Vista and 7 usage was up.
