Open Source Vendors Team up for Cloud BI Stack

Four proprietary open source vendors have teamed up to develop a cloud-based business intelligence stack. Jaspersoft, Vertica, RightScale and Talend have joined forces to develop an integrated open source business intelligence offering. The stack will be sold as a collective unit, but customers must sign contracts with each company for use.
