China Delays Green Dam Mandate
The Tech Herald on July 01, 2009
China has delayed the timeline for its mandated inclusion of Green Dam Youth Escort software on PCs sold in the country. Its Ministry of Industry and Information Technology blames the delay on PC manufacturers needing more time to comply. However, the MIIT did not provide a new deadline date.
