FCC to Probe Mobile Exclusivity Deals

The Federal Communications Commission is investigating the exclusivity contracts between mobile phone manufacturers and large mobile carriers. The agency hopes to decide whether such deals are fair to competition and to consumers. Several senators have filed complaints that such deals have locked out smaller, rural carriers.
