Carriers Dispute Claims of Pricing Collaborations

U.S. lawmakers are investigating whether major U.S. mobile carriers collaborated on the price of text messaging. AT&T and Verizon Mobile deny the claims and say that the text price hike did not even affect many subscribers since most have text message plans bundled with monthly payments.
