SAP Details Its SaaS Strategy

SAP’s new head of on-demand software applications, John Wookey, is giving details on the company’s new SaaS strategy. SAP will provide customers with subscription-based function-specific software applications that plug into their on-site Business Suite systems. The company also plans to use acquisitions to fill out its SaaS offerings — it has already purchased Frictionless Commerce and SkyData Systems.
