AT&T to Upgrade 3G, Add Bandwidth

AT&T will soon be upgrading its current 3G network to use a speedier technology, HSPA 7.2, instead of the HSPA 3.6. The company hopes the updates will be complete by 2011. It will also be doubling the frequency spectrum in most metropolitan areas to increase the available bandwidth for data traffic.
