Cheaper Pre-Paid Phone Plans Attract Marketshare

In light of the recession, many carriers have begun offering cheaper pre-paid plans with unlimited minutes. Sprint Nextel and Virgin Mobile both offer unlimited plans. Most plans do not include smartphones, however, and there are usually limits to which handsets the users may choose.
