FDA Hoping to Use Private Cloud for Disaster Recovery

Senior Tech Adviser to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Joe Klosky is testing internal cloud computing technology for the administration's disaster recovery. Klosky managed to restart services and applications onto other servers within 45 minutes. Using a private cloud would allow the administration to save on service contracts and outsourcing for its disaster recovery management.
