EMC Thinks Demand for Online Backups Will Grow

EMC CEO and President Joe Tucci believes that the company’s online backup service, Mozy, will continue to grow even during the down economy. The backup service is free to users who back up less than 2 GB of files, but monthly charges apply for unlimited storage. It also offers a package for business usage. The company reported its earnings were down 71 percent in the third quarter.
