Missing White House E-Mails Recovered
The Washington Post on January 15, 2009
A lawyer from the Justice Department informed a federal judge that the Bush administration will meet the legal requirement of providing all its e-mails to the National Archives. Locating the 14 million missing White e-mails cost $10 million. Private contractors found the e-mails after searching through some 60,000 tapes containing the daily contents of White House computers.
