Seagate Slashes Jobs, Executive Pay
Bloomberg on January 14, 2009
Seagate Technology announced it is cutting 6 percent of its work force, eliminating 2,950 positions globally. The company also said it would reduce the pay of its CEO by 25 percent and also cut the pay of some other managers. The company expects the changes to save $130 million annually.
