Report Finds Vulnerabilities within Antivirus Products

According to a recent study, antivirus products maybe part of the problem rather than part of the solution. Consulting firm n.runs AG found approximately 800 vulnerabilities within antivirus products. The vulnerabilities exploit a malware-scanning process known as parsing.
