Major Growth in WiMax Services Projected for Asia-Pacific Region

WiMax revenues in the Asia-Pacific region are expected to grow from $58 million in 2007 to $5.5 billion in 2012, a 148 percent increase. The figures come from Springboard Research, an IT market research firm. Springboard also forecasts 33.9 million subscribers in Asia by 2012.
