Lenovo Ditches Idea of Global Headquarters, Outsourcing

Lenovo is re-jiggering its business model, announcing that it is abandoning the idea of global company headquarters, and it will stop outsourcing its manufacturing. Milko van Duijl, president of Lenovo EMEA, calls the idea "world-sourcing," meaning that executives will stay where they are and meet on an as-needed basis.
