Fiber-Optic Cables Near Cleveland Sabotaged by Gunfire

U.S. Internet service providers experienced a slowdown after someone shot fiber optic cables near Cleveland. Damage to the cable was more than two-thirds of a mile long. TeliaSonera declined to say which provider's lines had been cut, but sources believe the lines to be owned by Level 3 Communications.
