SaaS Presents a New Integration Issue

As enterprises are adopting multiple SaaS applications, they are finding it difficult to integrate these applications, which cannot be customized, into an SOA platform. Some vendors are preparing for a SaaS-suite approach, saying there needs to be a common underlying architecture. The question then becomes whose architecture forms the basis of the platform: the enterprise's or the vendor's.
