Firewalls Gain Importance in Network Security

Vendors and analysts alike predict are firewalls will become even more important in network security. A Forrester analyst predicts firewalls will be further integrated with network security functions in the future. The analysts adds that it will become critical for Web applications to be scanned as they come up against the firewall.
