Watchdog Group Fails Google in Privacy Report
ZDNet on June 10, 2007
Google was the only Internet company out of 23 that received a failing grade in Privacy International's privacy rankings of the major Internet services. Among Google's failures, according to the report, is that the company retains a large quantity of information about users, does not provide users with an expungement option for search strings and fails to follow generally accepted privacy practices.
