Check Point Leverages Multi-Core Architecture for Security

Check Point is offering VPN-1 Power with CoreXL to address security threats at the application layer. CoreXL is specifically designed to deal with multi-core architectures, giving security administrators data center-level performance, while also providing intrusion prevention for applications. Check Point's Dave Burton said the product is geared toward large companies with high traffic volumes.
