Six Security Updates Readied by Microsoft for Next Week

Microsoft is expected to release six security updates this Patch Tuesday -- five of them for its operating systems. Microsoft regularly releases security-related and other updates on the second Tuesday of each month. This time around, the one fix labeled "critical" relates to the nagging Microsoft XML Core Service vulnerability, which Redmond has already tried to patch.
