BPM Frees Staffing Firm Workers from Superfluous Tasks

While one of the key goals of business process management is to help companies automate their processes, a bevy of other benefits usually follow. Using BPM software, the UK's MSB International was able to free staff at six locations from unnecessary paperwork so they could focus more on customer-facing activities. Another big bonus: MSB saved £100,000 (U.S. $188,000) from a single application, based on freeing 200 users from 4,000 hours of process implementation tasks. Based on the success of the initial deployment, MSB has implemented BPM for another 30 processes. BPM supports a key MSB strategy, that IT systems must support business processes rather than processes being modified to support IT.
