Kaspersky Labs Finds Half London's Wireless Networks Unprotected

Just under half of London's wireless networks are without encryption protection of any type. Kaspersky Labs made the discovery during testing this spring in sections of the city, as well as the Infosec security conference. A senior analyst there pointed out that if a major information technology security conference and a major international business center are rampant with unprotected wireless networks (which Kaspersky did not attempt to access), the general trend is less than positive.
