ID Management Experts Tackle User Resistance Challenges

When employees get the message at the beginning of a rollout that compliance, rather than control, is the goal and benefit of ID management procedures, they'll buy in and cooperate much more fully, said an expert panel at the recent Identity and Access Management Symposium. You could also try the carrot (gift certificates or other rewards for participation) or the stick (chargebacks for excessive help desk calls for ID management). When one department is praising the system to another department, you'll know you've succeeded in getting the message across.
