JBoss's JEMS Rises and Rises as the Open Source Platform of Choice for SOA
Enterprise Open Source Magazine on February 22, 2006
Last week, JBoss announced its fourth-quarter results for a year in which the company exceeded all of its customer adoption, operations and revenue goals. CEO Mark Fleury attributes the success to the strong community of users, customers and partners around the company. In the last quarter, JBoss made acquisitions and releases aimed at providing the critical components of the JEMS open source platform for SOA, the article says. Particularly of note were the acquisition of HP and Arjuna Technologies' J2EE and Web services distributed transaction technology and the Drools project's popular business rules engine.
