The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) was developed by major credit card companies to help organizations prevent credit fraud, deter hacking and address other security issues.

This common set of information security standards reflects the interests of five major credit card brands, including VISA and MasterCard. These requirements encompass key security topics, such as creating a secure network, protecting card data, and security policy maintenance.

Check into the PCI Data Security Standard Resource Center for up-to-the-minute information on industry regulations, technology updates, vendor profiles and new product releases that you need to keep your company PCI DSS-compliant.
