Approximately how much money does (or would) your organization lose due to performance problems with cloud-based applications each year?

The weighted average for North America respondents was $985,000. Almost one third (29 percent) of North American companies are losing $1.5 million or more per year, and 14 percent are losing $3 million or more.

As more IT organizations get comfortable with cloud computing, many are turning their attention to performance issues in the cloud. Just like on-premise applications, poor performance of cloud-based applications can be detrimental to the business.

A new survey of 700 businesses in North America and Europe from Compuware, a provider of tools for monitoring cloud computing performance, finds that performance issues are already a major concern.
